This is a Kigu gilt carryall compact. It has a compartment for solid powder, another for 7 (smaller) cigarettes and a clamp for the lipstick on top. It would have been made in the 1950's and used for going to events like dinner dances. It was small enough to put on the table. It was a luxury item at the time of great austerity!
