KIGU GILT CARRYALL COMPACT - POWDER, CIGARETTES, LIPSTICK

This is a Kigu gilt carryall compact.  It has a compartment for solid powder, another for 7 (smaller) cigarettes and a clamp for the lipstick on top.  It would have been made in the 1950's and used for going to events like dinner dances.  It was small enough to put on the table.  It was a luxury item at the time of great austerity!  See more details on my web site - www.gillianhorsup.com - reference 2553 B124/1 price £98.

Stunning 1950s pastel and black rhinestone matching necklace and earrings set. The striking set consists of sparkling blue, pink, and green rhinestones and black faceted glass stones, set in a goldtone finish.  Although unsigned this is a quality set. Very striking long drop gold plated earrings decorated with back enamel and large faux glass pearl cabochons.
