An early morning find this! The necklace - from the 1930's - has a brown celluloid chain and brown/black celluloid leaves with streaky brown bakelite balls. This is a bit unusual as these necklaces are usually all celluloid. I have a blue one in the shop - but it does not have the bakelite balls. It is £85.

These telephone cord bags were usually made in the 1950's. This one is in red, white, dark blue, yellow and green. The bag has a zip and a brass ring. It measures approximately 7 1/2 x 4 inches. It is £58.

Silver coloured metal mesh snake bangle - most likely by Whiting & Davis (the marking on the back of the head is indistinct). I love the earlier snake bangles but there is a demand for these at the moment. The price depends on the condition and how long the snake is. This one is a medium. The ones that wrap around several times are harder to find, and more expensive. The plating is in good condition. It is £65.

Large Flower Clip Earrings

A buying trip to Brussels resulted in some wonderful pairs of earrings - including these extraordinary clip earrings by IKU Paris. The flower head has the earring clip and the stalk and leaves dangle. The earrings are about 4 inches in length and are quite different! The weather in Brussels was horrid and to get a cheap fair we had to go far too early - but it was worth it. We have a good selection of clip earrings in our shop at Vintage Modes. £65.
